Café Theater Festival understands that you do not want to share your data with everyone. That is why we handle it with care and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do need some of your data to be able to help you properly. In this statement we explain what we need from you and how we use it.

This is a privacy statement of Stichting CaféTheaterFestival, based in Utrecht (the Netherlands) and registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 30198303. This privacy statement describes what personal data we process, for what purposes this data is used and what measures we have taken to ensure that the processing is lawful, proper and transparent, in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Storage of Your Data

We store the necessary personal data we receive from you. This includes, for example, the data we receive when you sign up for a newsletter or when you sign up as a Stamgast. Among other things, we collect and store the following personal data:

  • Name (first and last name)
  • Date of birth
  • Address and other contact details

Use of Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To keep you informed about our services and products
  • Send you the documents you have requested and respond to your questions
  • To comply with the laws and regulations that apply to us

Sharing Your Data With Others

Café Theater Festival shares your personal data very selectively and only where necessary, for instance with the program used to send newsletters. We have concluded a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf, in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We work in this way with the following companies:

Crossmarx: a CRM system
Mailchimp: for sending newsletter via e-mail
Google Workspace: for storing information

We may publish photographs of attentdees of and and/or participants in our activities and events on our website, on social media and in promotional materials, unless you explicitly object with reasons (see ‘Viewing, Correcting, Updating and Deleting Your Data’).

Your Data

We protect your personal data against abuse and access by unauthorized persons through technological means currently available for this purpose. We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes outlined above or as long as we are required to do so by law.
