ENG // I’m so rich I don’t know exactly how much money I have. I am so rich that I made food my hobby. Why are we so rich? To what do we owe it? And what should we do with all that money?

NL // Anne Meffert (1997) is maker bij het Jong Talent programma van Stut Theater. Ze studeerde in 2021 af aan de Toneelacademie Maastricht als documentaire- en theatermaker. In haar werk pluist ze graag taboes uit. Alles waar ze op een bepaalde manier bang voor is, of onzeker over is, ziet ze als perfect materiaal om vanuit te vertrekken. Ze maakt graag werk dat ontregelt, ofwel door vorm ofwel door inhoud.
ENG // Anne Meffert (1997) is an artist in the Young Talent program of Stut Theater. She graduated from the Institute of Performative Arts Maastricht in 2021 as a documentary maker and theatre creator. In her work she likes to unravel taboos. Everything she is in some way afraid of or insecure about, she sees as perfect material to start from. She likes to create work that disrupts, either through form or content.
