In the creators behind Sturm und Drang from eighteenth-century Germany they find their equals. Bombastically revolutionary, they want to break art norms, broaden system rules and change the world. Plötzlich ganz connected to an ancient movement from our neighboring country on the right, Blond & Cynisch, together with their publikum, start a search for a Sturm und Drang anno 2022. NL // Blond & Cynisch is een theatercollectief bestaande uit Remy Meeuwsen, Esther Ymkje van Steenis en Emma Vermeulen. In 2021 studeerden zij af aan de Arnhemse Toneelschool (ArtEZ). Samen zoeken ze naar een nieuwe, intersectioneel feministische theatrale taal. Sturmpje is het eerste deel in het drieluik Sturm & Drang dat zij in 2022 tot stand zullen brengen als nieuwe makers i.s.m. Theater Ins Blau. Meer weten of zien? ENG // Blond & Cynisch is a theatre collective consisting of Remy Meeuwsen, Esther Ymkje van Steenis and Emma Vermeulen. In 2021 they graduated from the Arnhem Theatre School (ArtEZ). Together they search for a new, intersectional feminist theatrical language.
