NL // Speels, absurd en misschien een beetje agressief. Met hun vriendschap als basis, jongleren, dansen en bewegen Elise en Nils erop los om hun visie op de mens en zijn gedrag uit te beelden. Hun inspiratie ligt in het gedrag van kinderen, die al spelend de grenzen van hun omgeving blijven opzoeken. Het publiek wordt uitgenodigd om zich te mengen in het perspectief van de artiesten die, ondanks dat ze volwassen zijn, nog altijd de kinderlijke nieuwsgierigheid hebben. Toch proberen ze dit te verhullen achter een masker van professionaliteit.
ENG // Playful, absurd and maybe a little bit violent. Inspired by the behavior of playing children, who constantly test the limits of their environment, and with their friendship as a base, Elise and Nils use their skills in juggling, dance and acrobatics to share their vision of human behavior. ‘Unnecessary violence’ aims to invite the audience to become part of a reality in which adults don’t move past that child-like behavior, but instead try to cover it up with a layer of professionality.

NL // Nils is een Duitse jongleur, die heeft gestudeerd aan ACaPA in Tilburg. Hij jongleert met kegels en ballen en combineert dit graag met beweging en dans. Dit gebruikt hij om een bepaalde sfeer of gevoel te creëren. Maar, het meest belangrijke feitje over Nils: Hij is totaal verslaafd aan chips. Hij koopt altijd twee zakken: één om te delen, één voor zichzelf.
Elise is een Franse jongleur, die voordat ze aan ACaPA in Tilburg studeerde een vooropleiding heeft gevolgd aan CRAC (Lomme, Frankrijk). Ze jongleert met kegels, maar gebruikt ze ook graag om te balanceren. Ze houdt ervan om kleine verhaaltjes op het toneel te maken, maar het meest belangrijke: Ze heeft een plantenverslaving, ze heeft meer dan 80 planten!
Samen zijn ze een jong jongleergezelschap. Ze gebruiken graag absurditeit en speelsheid in hun voorstellingen.
ENG // Nils is a German juggler, who studied at ACaPA (Tilburg, Netherlands). He is a club and ball juggler and likes to include movement and dance into his juggling. Using these tools he enjoys to create an atmosphere or feeling on stage. But the most important information about Nils: he is addicted to crisps ( he often buys two packets of crisps, one for him and one to share with others)!
Elise is a French juggler, who studied in the preparatory of the CRAC (Lomme, France), in Flic (Turin, Italie) and in ACaPA (Tilburg, Netherlands). She is a club juggler (or maybe just a club balancer…). She likes to create little stories on stage. And the most important information about Elise: she has a plant addiction (she has more than 80 plants)!
We are a young juggling company consisting of two performers. We enjoy to use absurdity and playfulness in our creations.
