NL // Sebastián Mrkvicka is in 2020 afgestudeerd van de toneelschool in Arnhem; ArtEZ.
Iris Bakker is in 2020 afgestudeerd van het conservatorium van Rotterdam genaamd Codarts, opleiding Muziektheater.
We werkten samen bij Theater Oostpool en Theater Sonnevanck, waar een klik ontstond die resulteerde in deze samenwerking. We hebben een voorliefde voor het menselijke onkunde en falen en zoeken op tragikomische wijze naar de essentie van de falende mens.
In deze voorstelling duiken we in de fantasie elkaars broer en zus te zijn. Al het oud leed en nieuw zeer van deze imaginaire bloedband zullen we tot in het detail uitpluizen.
ENG // Sebastián Mrkvicka (06-09-1997) graduated from the drama school in Arnhem in 2020; ArtEZ. Iris Bakker (28-08-1998) graduated in 2020 from the conservatory of Rotterdam called Codarts, Music Theater department.
Both worked together on a performance at Theater Oostpool and Theater Sonnevanck, they had a great connection during rehearsals and on a personal level. This is where the interest in a collaboration arose. They have a preference for human failure and human ignorance and both look for the essence of the failing human in a comic, tragic way. Both are trained from different theatre disciplines, and are eager to learn from each other.
In this performance they dive into the fantasy of being each other’s sibling. They will unravel in detail all the old and new sorrows of this imaginary blood tie.
