NL // Tess Elschot is interactief theatermaker en (burlesque) performer. In 2022 studeerde ze af aan de opleiding Interactive Performance Design aan de HKU Theater. Als Studio TE (voorheen BiTE) onderzoekt en experimenteert ze met de grenzen en mogelijkheden van verschillende disciplines.
Studio TE heeft een feministische insteek en combineert humor, theater en burlesque met maatschappelijke onderwerpen. Omdat haar werk geëngageerd is vindt ze het belangrijk om zoveel mogelijk verschillende perspectieven aan bod te brengen, ook die van het publiek. Interactiviteit is daarom van groot belang.
ENG // Tess Elschot is an interactive theatre maker and (burlesque) performer. In 2022, she graduated from the Interactive Performance Design course at the HKU Theatre. As Studio TE (formerly known as BiTe) she researches and experiments with the limits and possibilities of different disciplines.
Studio TE has a feminist approach and combines humor, theatre and burlesque with social issues. Because her work is socially engaged, Studio TE finds it important to address as many perspectives as possible, including those of the audience. Therefore, interactivity is of great importance.
